As a rural school, our team of dedicated staff work hard to ensure students are afforded opportunities to participate in co-curricular activities wherever possible. These activities allow students to have new experiences and develop skills and talents in areas which are an extension of classroom activities.
LOTE - Our whole school (Prep-Year 6) participate in fortnightly German lessons.
Macintyre Young Writers - Our Year 1-6 students enter a piece of creative writing in the Macintyre Young Writers competition every year.

Inter-school sport - As well as our own sports program, St Maria Goretti involves students in inter-school swimming, athletics and cross country competitions throughout the year.

Inglewood Show - Each year, our students have the opportunity to enter their work in many different sections of the Inglewood Show including photography, writing and junior art.
Instrumental music - Students in Years 4-6 may learn a musical instrument of their choice. Our Instrumental Music teacher visits on Fridays to provide small group tuition.
Mary MacKillop Club - Our Mary MacKillop club provides opportunities for students to acknowledge and explore social justice issues in our local and global communities, creating a just world in the true spirit of Mary MacKillop. The Mary MacKillop club raises funds for Caritas and Catholic Mission Australia. Opportunities through retreats, liturgies and school camps continue to strengthen students’ awareness of local and global issues and understanding the Gospel values.
ANZAC Day - Our students participate in the Inglewood ANZAC Day Service every year. All the students participate in the march and the Year 6 leaders read during the service.
